"Just wanted to say "thank you" to Robert and John - the class has been a wonderful experience, I have learned a lot, and I have certainly had a lot of fun participating.
I really appreciate the time and attention you have given to me, and I plan to continue to apply the guidance and advice you have offered. All the best!"

"Just wanted to say thanks for a great class. Photography has turned out to be something of great interest to me.... it's sort of my "zen" thing... I take the challenges presented in these courses very seriously (sometimes too seriously in that I end up competing with myself each lesson and borderline having a nervous breakdown because I want to be incredibly unique AND picture perfect) and it's also a very personal goal for me to become better and better... you guys have helped push me to find my creative edge through each lesson, which I am very thankful for... And by the way, waiting for those critiques could make anyone crack under pressure.
Hopefully sometime soon I can get to a workshop and work side by side with you guys.... maybe dazzle you with what I've learned in all my courses with PPSOP. Montreal would be outstanding! Anyway, thanks again..."

"Just want to thank you both for an outstanding course. I love all the courses I've taken at PPSOP, but think this one has taught me the most.
Thank you so much and for being a little tough on us (you could even be tougher) so that I really can get a great photo not just a so so photo."

"Overall, this was a great course and I was very happy to have taken it. Robert's critiques were almost always dead-on, while John's diligence and knowledge in the forum made me wonder why he isn't listed in the course description page. If I ever have time to kill in Tampa, maybe I'll sign up for one of your day workshops.
To everyone, perhaps I'll see you in another PPSOP class. My next one might be the Intro to Flash... "

"I've spent the last 8 weeks or so, thinking constantly about pictures to take, and places within which to shoot.
I started the course because I'd spent the first 12 months of owning my DSLR planning and learning how to shoot wildlife in South Africa, I did it so much, that when I came back, I found it hard to be inspired about making as much fuss about my camera as I had previously. So 6 months later I picked up a couple of books that would get my mind working, 2 of Bryan Petersons about creative shooting and also creative people, and another on design in photography. These began to rekindle my interest, then I picked up in Bryan's book to reference to this school and the online courses, so I had a look at the website and 10 minutes later I was enrolled.
I've kept all of my raw files in a single directory, and found, last night, that I've taken nearly 1300 pictures in 8 weeks in order to select 24 ! Some ideas didn't work, and others were shots to replicate ideas others on the course had tried the week before - but others I'm proudly showing on my forever expanding website, without being conceited I've taken some good pictured that I'm sure I would never had thought about if it wasn't for this course.
I'm positive I learnt. In the early weeks I really struggled to find the shot and then to ensure I had taken it in a compelling way, but contrast to yesterday when I went out for a 40 minute walk in my town, and took around 100 pictures and believe I could have submitted over half of them. Whilst Robert may not give the Perfect Picture accolade, I'm just happy that I can now go out and do that and come back with such a good percentage of pictures from a shoot, and it shows practice is the key.
I've just spent my lunchbreak reviewing all of our class photos from the last 8 weeks, there have been some beautiful shots. My favourite remains the simplicity of Jeremy's week 4 single Cherry - I am so going to copy that one.
The Q&A forum has been fun and also very informative. I reattached my polariser yesterday on the back of the debate earlier in the week on Grad filters, and I was really happy with the sky colours I got.
Although I'm sure this is not the last time I write, I just wanted to say thanks to Robert and John for the advice and tips, and to everyone else who has submitted pictures and comments and points of view. Quality."

"Fabulous Robert, thank you very much!! You've been a great help. I do tons of reading on the internet and from magazines but the information out there is usually wrong and more importantly, ridiculous. I've lost days worth of photos because of bad information. That's why your help is so great, you're clear, concise and most importantly, SPOT ON. So thanks again Robert!"

"I have been taking photographs for 28 years. When I signed up for Robert's workshop I was hoping to leave with some ideas on how to be more creative. I left the workshop with that and so much more. Thanks to Robert's extensive knowledge and experience, I now have a better understanding of how my camera and various lens work, a fresh perspective on how to approach a subject I wish to photograph, the benefits of a few good filters, the diversity of macro photography, and most of all, a greater self-confidence and reassurance in my abilities as a photographer. Most importantly, Robert, and his lovely wife Dawn, were so personable, it made the entire afternoon that much more enjoyable. It was a fun, yet educational experience that I would highly recommend to any photographer, experienced or otherwise."

"What a great place! Kudos to everyone. I just can't get over all the great photographs and talent in just this class. I just wanted to say thanks to Bryan and Robert. PPSOP is so incredible. Just the interaction alone with the other students in the class makes this a wonderful school. I just wanted to say thanks to all for everyone's critiques and if this is how it is after not even 2 weeks, I can't imagine how great it's going to be by the end of 8 weeks."

"Thanks to you, Rober and John, the editor loved my work. (He was also surprised to see your name on my resume under the education section as an instructor). Thanks again for all of your help and PPSOP definitely was a great help in getting me started in a career of Photography."
